About our company

Each work of art is one-of-a-kind, and is created at Benu Glass Creations, from PMC* and Dichroic** glass jewelry, to glass sinks, and is also custom designed and hand crafted.  Everything is produced in-house to keep the details and materials consistent.  Future plans include embarking on ventures to incorporate other materials with glass, such as metals, as well as adding stained glass projects.  Our line of products grows with each new commission, as we take on new projects, fresh ideas flow and new things are produced in the process.  At Benu Glass Creations, that is what is so exciting as an artist and designer, being able to merge the two together while simultaneously working on what we love.

 * Precious Metal Clay is a unique, claylike material in which recycled, fine silver particles are mixed with an organic binder to make it pliable.  Once the pieces are crafted they are fired in the kiln, burning off the binder and leaving only the fine silver (Sterling Silver = .925 vs. Fine Silver = .999).

 ** Dichroic Glass was originally created by NASA, composed of a metallic oxide coating over glass, such as titanium, magnesium and silicon, but was discovered by warm glass artists.   It reflects one color while transmitting another (as the light passes through the glass).  This is one of the hottest materials being used by artisans today, and should by experienced first hand.  The brilliance of the colors when exposed to sunlight is breathtaking.  Whether you’re purchasing gifts for yourself, friends, business or family, you will absolutely love our jewelry, as well as other items embellished with Dichroic Glass.
